Personal Information Protection Policy

Enactment Date: March 1, 2007

JM Corporation (hereinafter referred to as “JM”), being aware that the protection of personal information in the possession of the company is a social responsibility, has formulated the following policy for all employees to discharge this responsibility and deal with personal information in accordance with this policy.

1.Purpose of Personal Information Protection Policy
JM will protect personal information obtained from customers and employees appropriately, to ensure they can feel confident about giving the company their private information.
2.Handling Personal Information
To deal with the said information, JM will establish a management system to protect it in line with the actual business operation and handle it properly and carefully.

(1)Obtaining Personal Information
When obtaining the personal information from customers and employees by appropriate and fair means, JM will specify the purpose for which it is to be used.
(2)Using Personal Information
When using personal information for purposes within a previously specified range, JM will notify relevant customers and employees.
(3)Disclosure of Personal Information to Third Parties
When disclosing personal information to third parties for purposes within a previously specified range, JM will notify the customer or employee, and then obtain the prior consent from the person concerned, except as otherwise stipulated by law.
(4)Management and Supervision of Contractor
When outsourcing the service to the third party to realize the said notification, JM will take appropriate measures to manage and supervise the contractor with regard to handling personal information.
3.Implementation of Security Measures
In addition to ensuring information accuracy, JM will implement information security measures to guard against unauthorized access to personal information, or the loss, destruction, alteration, or leakage of personal information. If new protection methods are proved to be useful, JM will consequently alter said methods and will endeavor continually to improve the methods for establishing personal information protection regulations and management system.
4.Compliance with Laws and Regulations
In order to protect personal information, JM will comply with relevant laws and regulations regarding personal information as well as other norms.
5.Respect of the Rights of Customers and Employees
JM respects the rights of customers and employees. Upon any request from the customer and employee, JM will take prompt measures to disclose, revise or delete the information of the person concerned, or to stop the use of information by the third party.
